Kolecto, a startup from La Fabrique du Crédit Agricole, needed to very quickly offer a Factur-X compliant electronic invoicing solution to respond to the regulatory emergency and become a PDP pilot platform. Theodo Fintech supported her to design and put into production a complete, easy-to-use and scalable module — in just 8 weeks.
The VSE/SME market is in full transformation, driven by the electronic invoicing obligation from 2026/2027. To position itself sustainably among the State pilot platforms (PDP) and quickly capture market shares, Kolecto had to offer a module for creating quotes and invoices that was simple, intuitive and 100% compliant with the Factur-X standard.
This project also represented an internal strategic challenge:
- lay the technical foundations the Kolecto V2 with a scalable serverless architecture;
- structure a robust product organization, capable of delivering continuously without technical debt;
- create a first key feature to then accelerate on the future components of financial management (safe, Google/Office integrations, etc.).
The challenges
1. Product
Design a complete module for creating quotes and invoices while ensuring strict compliance with the Factur-X standard (imminent legal obligation).
2. Tech
Generate valid PDFs and Factur-X files via the library Gotenberg, in an environment Serverless scalable and sustainable.
3. Delivery
Deliver a critical feature + a product catalog in just 8 weeks, to allow the first user tests as early as June.
4. Adoption
Create a seamless experience < 3 minutes to quickly seduce early adopters.
