Datalake implemented via a tailor-made ETL

Context

For a future French tourism unicorn, we created a custom data lake in 3 months by extracting insights from raw data.

The Challenge

Experiencing hypergrowth, the future French tourism unicorn saw its data volume increase to 1.5TB in 2019. Business analysts prepare BI reports for the CoDIR in over a week, without any certainty about the accuracy of the figures presented.

The objective was therefore to create a data lake offering aggregated data collections according to business needs so that analysts could provide analysis in 4 hours compared to 1 week before the project.

The Solution

Development of a data lake with historical data updated in real time. This data is stored and aggregated from 7 different sources and allows business teams to create dashboards from it.
